increasING the visibility of QTIBPoC at Carnival and since 2018

FAGGAMUFFIN BLOC PARTY

Faggamuffin Bloc Party's mission is to increase the visibility of QTIBPoC at Carnival and since 2018 have centred the lives and experiences of their community through their yearly event at Hackney Carnival. Last year was a turning point for a lot of marginalised organisations, and it became impossible to continue organise community lead parties in person. So during 2020 Faggamuffin Bloc Party adapted and created an online resource which continues to champion the UK's QTIBPoC community online. Here you will find past, present and future events - as well as reminisce over large Carnival crowds. Faggamuffin aims to continue to deliver online events, and hopefully in 2022, another Faggamuffin Bloc Party. In the meantime please enjoy the series of commissions Faggamuffin made in collaboration with various organisations around the UK, such as the livestream series from Vogue Fabrics Dalston, the book reading series from PRIM.BLACK and the panel series done by Andreena Leeanne from Poetry LGBT+, not to mention the hours of mixes made from our community of DJs who have curated a set just for Faggamuffin. You can catch it all on www.faggamuffinblocparty.com 🏳️‍🌈 Enjoy!
