Emily has over a decade of experience in the cultural sector, working across administrative and operational roles, as well as creative development. She is dedicated to improving access and inclusion for both artists and their audiences, and is particularly passionate about captioning for d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing viewers.

Emily has previously worked for the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (SMHAF), BBC Scotland, and Warp Films.

Her areas of expertise include copyediting, script and story development, and stakeholder engagement. She also enjoys applying User Experience (UX) and Service Design principles to enhance and streamline organisational processes.
