Something To Aim For has been commissioned by Manchester City Council to assist with the Anti-Poverty Insight Group, as part of “Making Manchester Fairer”, their Anti-Poverty Strategy, the Council’s five-year plan to tackle health inequalities, including poverty and debt. STAF has contributed to recruitment processes, ensuring that a diverse range of communities are actively involved in consultations and can influence policy decisions that directly impact them, and facilitating the meetings of the Group.
The Group is part of the governance of the Making Manchester Fairer programme, playing a crucial role by providing invaluable insights, challenges, and recommendations to shape the Council’s approach to the delivery of the Anti-Poverty Strategy.
