Rose is a Manchester-based Canadian poet. She has won slams across the UK and was a two-time UK national slam finalist. She performs nationally and internationally, featuring at gigs, conferences and festivals.
Rose has written and toured three acclaimed shows: The Geography of Me (Spoken Word Award, Buxton Fringe), The Empathy Experiment (Best Spoken Word Show, Greater Manchester Fringe), and How to Starve an Artist (Runner Up Best Spoken Word Show, Saboteur Awards).
She has published two poetry collections with Manchester’s Flapjack Press: How to Find Where You Belong (2023) and After the Storm (2020). She produces and hosts the podcast ‘Have A Kind Word With Yourself’ and she runs creative writing workshops for people of all ages.
