Jason is a freelance animation director, animator and illustrator based in Manchester, UK.
He specialises in 2D / 2½D hand drawn animation, 2D character design and rigging, hand drawn frame by frame animation, background illustration and compositing. His work is heavily textured, tactile and organic, inspired by printmaking and inky brush strokes with a digital edge. He’s worked for a range of clients including BBC, MTV, Red Nose Day (Belgium), Chvrches, Chief Productions, Icons Creating Evil Art and Skeletal Lightning.
